I spent the first five years of my career at BBC Television Centre in Shepherds Bush, and loved every minute of it! Be it getting up early on a Saturday morning to work on "Multi-Coloured Swop Shop", to rigging 8 cameras for "Top of the Pops", every day was an adventure. Of course in those days you were one of 3 or 4 Engineers in each Studio, and you never worked in any other areas! Thirty years later I'm fully multi-skilled, and can lend my hand to the following areas;
Since 2006 I have been
heavily-involved with the operation of Sky Television's High Definition
Studio output, including flagship shows such as "Champions League" and
"Rugby Club" and more recently working on shows for Sky One and Sky
Arts. I also have gained experience working for Sky Digital Media
channels, looking after the live transmission of Interactive and
streaming services.
